How we collect, use, and protect your information.
Boots & Bubbles Bar (“Boots & Bubbles,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit bootsandbubblesbar.com (the “Site”) or interact with us in person, by email, by text message, or through one of our forms, and how we use, share, protect, and let you control that information.
By using the Site or providing information to us, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit information to us.
When you join our guest list, request a reservation, inquire about an event, contact us, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect: your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, company, party size, event date and time, occasion, the names of guests of honor, how you heard about us, and any other information you choose to share with us.
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device and how you use the Site, including: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time spent on pages, and approximate location derived from IP. This information is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 6).
If you make a purchase (for example, a gift card or a future deposit), our third-party payment processors collect and process your payment card information directly. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
We use your information to: respond to your inquiries and reservation requests; confirm and manage bookings and private events; process payments; send you transactional messages (for example, a reservation confirmation); send you marketing emails or text messages when you have opted in; operate, maintain, and improve the Site; understand how guests use the Site; prevent fraud and enforce our terms; and comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or loan your personally identifiable information. We share information only as follows:
SMS data is not shared. Mobile information collected for text messaging is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS originator opt-in data and consent are also not shared.
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, you consent to receive informational and promotional text messages from Boots & Bubbles Bar related to your inquiry, reservation, event, or guest-list signup. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any text from us, or email optout@bootsandbubblesbar.com. For help, reply HELP or email optout@bootsandbubblesbar.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
If you join our guest list or otherwise opt in to receive marketing emails, you may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing optout@bootsandbubblesbar.com. We will continue to send transactional or service-related messages (for example, reservation confirmations) as needed.
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and improve content. We use third-party analytics services, including Google Analytics, to understand aggregated usage of the Site. You can learn more and opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can also set your browser to refuse cookies, although some features of the Site may not work as intended without them.
The Site may let you interact with social networking services (for example, by clicking our Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok links, or by “liking” or sharing content). When you use these features, the relevant third party may collect information about you, and information you post may be publicly displayed. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies, not by this one.
Payment processing is performed by third-party providers that comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). We do not store or maintain your full credit card information. We may receive limited information about your transaction (such as the last four digits of your card and the authorization status) to confirm payment and provide service.
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or electronic storage, however, is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping any account credentials you use with our service providers confidential.
We keep your personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When the information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or securely archive it.
Boots & Bubbles Bar serves alcohol. Entry to the venue and use of services that involve alcohol are limited to guests who are 21 or older. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact optout@bootsandbubblesbar.com and we will delete it.
Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, you may request to: (i) confirm whether we process your personal data and access that data, (ii) correct inaccuracies, (iii) delete your personal data, (iv) obtain a portable copy of your data, and (v) opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. We do not sell personal data and do not engage in targeted advertising or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of their information. California residents also have the right to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah) generally have rights to access, correct, delete, port, and opt out of certain processing of their personal information. You may exercise these rights as described below.
To exercise any of these rights, email optout@bootsandbubblesbar.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 45 days, with a possible extension). You have the right to appeal a denial; instructions will be included in any denial response.
Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no industry standard on how to respond to these signals, the Site does not respond differently to them at this time. We will continue to monitor developments and update our practices as standards evolve.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, our payment processor or social platforms). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information.
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the bottom of this page. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the page or otherwise communicated to you. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
